Home Watch Chicago follows a structured process designed to establish clear expectations, confirm property access, and provide consistent residential property oversight from the start of service.
The process begins with an understanding of your property and establishes baseline conditions that support consistent Home Watch visits throughout your absence.
An initial consultation is conducted to review the property, occupancy status, access requirements, and desired service schedule. This step ensures that the property’s needs align with the scope of home watch services provided.
Prior to the start of service, clients complete a service agreement and provide required property information, access instructions, and emergency contact details.
Home watch services begin only after all required documentation is completed and confirmed.
An initial visit is performed to observe and document the general condition of the property. This visit establishes baseline conditions that serve as a reference point for future home watch visits.
Home watch visits are conducted according to the agreed schedule using a standardized observation process. Visits are focused on identifying visible conditions, changes, or concerns within the property.
All observations are documented following each visit.
If a visible concern or irregularity is observed during a visit, the homeowner is notified with documented observations. No corrective action is taken without prior client authorization.
Visit frequency or service scope may be adjusted based on the homeowner’s needs. A visit prior to the client’s return may also be scheduled to confirm general property conditions.
Home watch services are observational in nature and do not constitute a home inspection, evaluation, or guarantee of property condition.
Repairs, maintenance services, or contractor coordination are not performed unless separately authorized in writing.
Service availability is subject to property location, access requirements, and scheduling capacity.
