What To Expect When Starting Service With Home Watch Chicago

 

Home Watch Chicago follows a structured onboarding process designed to establish clear expectations, confirm access, and ensure consistent oversight from the start. This process allows for an initial understanding of the property and establishes a baseline for ongoing home watch services.

Our Onboarding Process

 

1. Initial Consultation

 An initial consultation is conducted to review the property, occupancy status, access requirements, and service parameters. This step confirms alignment between the property’s needs and the scope of services provided.

 

2. Service Agreement & Authorization

 Prior to the start of service, clients complete a service agreement and provide required property details, access information, and emergency contacts. Services do not begin until all documentation is complete.

 

3. Initial Baseline Visit

 An initial visit is performed to observe and document the general condition of the property. This visit establishes baseline conditions used for reference during future home watch visits.

4. Ongoing Home Watch Visits

 Home watch visits are conducted on a scheduled basis using a standardized process. Visits are observational in nature and focused on identifying visible conditions, changes, or concerns within the property.

5. Issue Notification & Communication

 If an issue or concern is observed, the client is notified with documented observations. No corrective action is taken without prior client authorization.

6. Service Adjustments & Return Preparation

Visit frequency or scope may be adjusted as requested. A visit prior to the client’s return can be scheduled upon request to confirm general conditions.

  • Home watch services are observational only and do not constitute an inspection, evaluation, or guarantee of property condition.
     
  • Repairs, maintenance, or contractor coordination are not performed unless separately authorized in writing.
     
  • Service availability is subject to location, access, and scheduling capacity.
